Conduit - Appointment Status Lifecycles

Status lifecycle
These are all possible statuses an appointment can hold during its lifetime on the Conduit platform. Some statuses require optional modules or configuration to be enabled.
Active statuses
Status | Trigger | Configuration |

Requested | Carrier books an appointment through the Conduit portal. | This step can be skipped if automatic confirmation is enabled. |
Scheduled | Appointment request is confirmed — either manually by the warehouse or automatically via configuration. | Conduit Core |
Checked in | Driver uses the QR code check-in workflow, or warehouse staff manually checks in the appointment. | Driver check-in workflows |
Loading / Unloading | Warehouse manually clicks "Start Unloading" on the appointment page, or a forklift driver claims a task and begins unloading via the Forklift workflows. | Forklift Module |
Loaded / Unloaded | Warehouse manually clicks "Finish Unloading," or a forklift driver selects finish unload using the Forklift workflows. | Forklift Module |
Checked out | Warehouse selects the "Check Out" button on the appointment page. This is the final step in the standard lifecycle. | Conduit Core |
Automated statuses

Late | A specified amount of time has elapsed past the scheduled appointment time without check-in. | Configurable late threshold (inbound / outbound) |
No show | A specified amount of time has elapsed past the scheduled time with no activity. | Configurable no-show threshold (inbound / outbound) |
Terminal statuses

Canceled | Manually canceled by the warehouse from the appointment page; canceled by the carrier; or automatically canceled when the no-show cutoff time is reached. | No-show cutoff cancellation (optional) |
